Cosyne 2012 Travel Grants

Thanks to the generosity of the following organizations:

a number of travel grants will be awarded to students and postdocs presenting at the Cosyne meeting. Each award will cover at least $500 towards travel and meeting attendance costs. Larger grants may be available to those travelling from outside North America. Awardees must be an author on an accepted abstract, and must register and attend the meeting to receive the award. You are more likely to receive an award if you are a first author, an author on an oral presentation, an author on multiple presentations, and a first time award recipient.

To apply for a travel grant, send numbered replies to the following in an email to the General Chairs of the meeting:

Subject line: "Application for Cosyne 2012 travel grant"

1. Your first and last name.

2. Your institutional affiliation.

3. Your category (undergrad, grad, postdoc, other).

4. Your gender.

5. Are you a member of an under-represented group? (if yes, state which)

6. Have you received a Cosyne travel grant in a previous year? (if yes, state which year(s))

7. State number of accepted abstracts on which you are an author at Cosyne 2012.

8. For each presentation on which you are an author, provide (a) Your abstract number, (b) indicate talk or poster, (c) title, and (d) list of authors.

9. Your email address.

10. Any special considerations regarding your application for a travel grant.


Notification will be made by email as soon as award decisions have been made.
